World Cleanup Day is just around the corner, and we are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a big event in Douala, Cameroon in partnership with River Cleanup! Mark your calendars and save the date for this exciting initiative on 16th September 2023.

An Opportunity to Make a Difference

World Cleanup Day is a global movement that brings together millions of people from around the world to join forces and clean up our planet. It is a day dedicated to taking action and making a positive impact on our environment. This year, we are proud to be part of this movement and contribute to the cause.

Cleaning Up the Rivers of Douala

Our focus for this event will be the street but also rivers of Douala. Rivers are a vital part of our ecosystem, providing us with water, food, and a habitat for various species. Unfortunately, due to pollution and waste, our rivers are in dire need of cleanup.

During the event, we will gather volunteers including 30 children from all walks of life to come together and clean up the streets, riverbanks, and we will have fun games and ocean trawl demo for children. With the help of the local community, and our partners RIVER CLEANUP & E2F , we aim to remove tons of waste and restore the beauty of our nature.
